Are you interested in exploring the connections between the thinking and emotions in your teaching and the implications of these connections for student learning? If so, we invite you to join KSU's Cognitive-Affective Learning Interest Group. KSU is one of six participating institutions in the Cognitive-Affective Learning (CAL) theme as part of the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning's Institutional Leadership Program.
The KSU CAL group meets at least once each year to share ideas and plan projects related to cognitive-affective learning in higher education. To learn more about this group, visit our Web site at http://www.kennesaw.edu/cetl/resources/cal/index.html
Our next meeting is scheduled at CETL on Thursday October 9 from 2 PM until 3:30 PM. Please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in attending this meeting. You may also email me if you are interested in joining the CAL group even if you are unable to attend the meeting.
