English Teacher, The

THE ENGLISH TEACHER (ISSN 0128-7729) promotes effective English language teaching and learning and is intended for teachers and instructors who are primarily involved in teaching schoolchildren and adults. This is a refereed print-based journal published once a year.

English Language Teaching

English Language Teaching (ELT) is a double-blind peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to promoting scholarly exchange among teachers and researchers in the field of English Language Teaching. The journal is published monthly in both print and online versions. The scope of ELT includes the following fields: theory and practice in English language teaching and learning, teaching English as a second or foreign language, English language teachers’ training and education. 

IALLT Journal of Language Learning Technologies, The

The IALLT Journal for Language Learning Technologies is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal that is published twice annually. It focuses on practice-oriented research, review articles, and columns that address the intersection of technology with the teaching and learning of languages, literatures, and cultures. Often, these articles are written in the form of case study ethnographies, quasi-experimental classroom research or emerging technology reviews.

Computer Assisted Language Learning - Electronic Journal

Solicits and welcomes articles and reviews on research and practice in the fields of computer-assisted instruction (CAI) / computer-managed instruction (CMI) / computer-assisted learning (CAL) / computer-enhanced language learning (CELL) / computer-mediated communication (CMC) in ESL, EFL or other languages. Contributions to second language acquisition and computers, language assessment and computers, applied linguistics and computers, and other related areas are also encouraged.

Computer Assisted Language Learning

An intercontinental and interdisciplinary journal which leads the field in its dedication to all matters associated with the use of computers in language learning (L1 and L2), teaching and testing. It provides a forum to discuss the discoveries in the field and to exchange experience and information about existing techniques.

Journal of Basic Writing, The

The Journal of Basic Writing is a national refereed print journal founded in 1975 by Mina Shaughnessy, who served as the journal's first editor. JBW is published twice a year with support from the Office of Academic Affairs of the City University of New York. Basic writing, a contested term since its initial use by Shaughnessy in the 1970s, refers to the field concerned with teaching writing to students not yet deemed ready for first-year composition.

TESOL Journal

TESOL Journal (TJ) is a refereed, practitioner-oriented electronic journal based on current theory and research in the field of TESOL. TJ is a forum for second and foreign language educators at all levels to engage in the ways that research and theorizing can inform, shape, and ground teaching practices and perspectives. Articles enable an active and vibrant professional dialogue about research- and theory-based practices as well as practice-oriented theorizing and research.

TESOL Quarterly

TESOL Quarterly (TQ), a refereed professional journal, fosters inquiry into English language teaching and learning by providing a forum for TESOL professionals to share their research findings and explore ideas and relationships in the field.
