The International Journal of Learning: Annual Review aims to create an intellectual frame of reference and to support an interdisciplinary conversation on the nature and future of learning. Candidates for inclusion in this survey journal include works by invited contributors and top-ranked articles selected from thematic journals of the collection.

Higher Education Pedagogies

Higher Education Pedagogies will focus on disciplinary pedagogies and learning experiences; the higher education curriculum, i.e. what is taught and how it is developed and enhanced including both skills and knowledge; the delivery of the higher education curriculum; how it is taught and how students learn, and academic development; the role of teaching and learning in the development of academic careers and its place within the profession.

Journal of Effective Teaching

The Journal of Effective Teaching is an electronic journal devoted to the exchange of ideas and information about undergraduate and graduate teaching. Articles are solicited for publication which address excellence in teaching at colleges and universities. We invite contributors to share their insights in pedagogy, innovations in teaching and learning, and classroom experiences in the form of a scholarly communication which will be reviewed by experts in teaching scholarship.

International Journal for the Scholarship of Technology Enhanced Learning

IJSoTEL explores the intersection of SoTL and TEL, and how SoTEL might embody this new form of scholarship within Higher Education. This peer-reviewed quarterly journal publishes penetrating research, commentary, theory, and other scholarly projects that investigate the Scholarship of Technology Enhanced Learning. Faculty interested in doing SoTL or educational research in their classes, educational technologists, instructional designers, educational researchers, and other academic professionals are all encouraged to submit their work.

Journal of Instructional Pedagogies

Publishes original, unpublished manuscripts related to contemporary instructional techniques and education issues. Educational topics related to delivery methods, implementation of classroom technologies, distance learning, class activities and assessment are typical topics.

Journal of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship

A peer-reviewed online journal whose purpose is to serve as a place where scholars can publish their works, and where those seeking information can find resources of interest on issues and activities relating to the scholarship of teaching, learning, and research. Manuscripts are accepted from a variety of disciplines.

Journal for Academic Excellence

Publishes scholarship of teaching and learning research; book reviews on scholarly works on higher education administration or issues, college teaching, or adult learning; literature reviews that synthesize issues in higher education; and essays or personal reflections on classroom incidents with evidence- or theory-based interpretations.

Teaching & Learning in Higher Ed.

Good teachers are those who care about their students and want to grow more effective at helping them learn. The immediate purpose of Teaching & Learning in Higher Ed. is to support good teachers in their journey toward more effective teaching.

This project is not aimed at inexperienced teachers, uninformed teachers, or underperforming teachers, though such teachers may certainly benefit from it. Instead, this project exists to support all good teachers—those who care and want to improve—however experienced, knowledgeable, or effective they may or may not already be.
