Learning Communities Research and Practice

Learning Communities Research and Practice (LCRP) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for higher education faculty, staff, researchers, administrators, and students to share current research, effective practices, critical reflections, and resources related to student learning communities in higher education. The purpose of LCRP is to promote practices and knowledge that strengthen the learning communities field.

Journal of Transformative Learning

The Journal of Transformative Learning (JoTL) provides a forum of perspectives on the practice and application of transformative learning for use among organizations and educational institutions. JoTL is an open access, double-blind, peer-reviewed electronic journal that is published twice a year by the University of Central Oklahoma.

Journal of Case Studies in Education

Publishes original, unpublished case manuscripts relating educational situations from K - 12 and higher education. It is designed to provide the education professional a venue to share original situations with other educators. Cases from a broad range of topics are appropriate for consideration in the JCSE providing the focus of the work is educational situations.

Journal of Business Cases and Applications

Publishes quality applied business small cases and classroom applications/exercises designed to help business academics. The goal of JBCA is to share short cases and exercises developed for classroom use in any area of business education. Possible areas of application include, but are not limited to: Accounting, Business Administration, Business Law, E-Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Ethics, Decision Sciences, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Management, Marketing, Real Estate, Teaching and Business Education, and Others.

Simulation & Gaming: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Theory, Practice and Research

Simulation & Gaming: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Theory, Practice and Research (S&G) is the world's foremost scientific review devoted to academic and applied issues in the increasingly popular methodology of simulation/gaming as used in education, training, consultation and research round the world.

Syllabus

A good syllabus is a piece of original scholarship; a great one is also an art form. A research or theory paper go through peer review process to be recognized and validated; the same process should be available to course materials. This is a small step towards taking teaching as seriously as we take research.

The journal publishes original syllabi, assessment instruments, assignments and activities, and articles related to college teaching.

IALLT Journal of Language Learning Technologies, The

The IALLT Journal for Language Learning Technologies is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal that is published twice annually. It focuses on practice-oriented research, review articles, and columns that address the intersection of technology with the teaching and learning of languages, literatures, and cultures. Often, these articles are written in the form of case study ethnographies, quasi-experimental classroom research or emerging technology reviews.

Thinking Skills and Creativity

A peer-reviewed forum for communication and debate for the community of researchers interested in teaching for thinking and creativity. Papers may represent a variety of theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches and may relate to any age level in a diversity of settings: formal and informal, education and work-based.

Computers and Composition

Computers and Composition: An International Journal is devoted to exploring the use of computers in writing classes, writing programs, and writing research. It provides a forum for discussing issues connected with writing and computer use. It also offers information about integrating computers into writing programs on the basis of sound theoretical and pedagogical decisions, and empirical evidence.

Composition Studies

An academic journal dedicated to the range of professional practices associated with rhetoric and composition: teaching college writing; theorizing rhetoric and composing; administering writing related programs; preparing the field's future teacher-scholars.
