Not every student gets a taste of their dream before completing their education.  But this past summer, four Kennesaw State University students got to do just this.  Through a CARET (Creative Activities and Research Experiences for Teams) grant awarded to KSU dance professor Daniel Gwirtzman through the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), these students danced and worked alongside professionals in Gwirtzman’s New York-based company, Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company.

The Black Doctoral Network Conference is a platform for Black and Latino scholars and professionals to present and collaborate on original research topics across all disciplines. This year's theme, “Paying It Forward," focuses on what the next generation of students, thinkers, and doers can do to make an impact on local, national, or global levels. We welcome all abstract submissions that can answer the question: How does your research contribute to making an impact in this world?

See the attached flyer for more information.

It is a banner year for Kennesaw State’s Symposium of Scholars and Undergraduate Research.  On April 16, the annual event celebrated its 20th year of recognizing excellence in student scholarship and creative activity. It’s also the year that will launch efforts to increase visibility, participation, communication and student engagement in research.
