A Professional Service and Research Scholarship Project, working as a Designer/Art Consultant with a Non-profit Arts/Crafts Collective - the Association for Craft Producers - (ACP), in Katmandu, Nepal.

This Faculty Sabbatical will be dedicated to professional service, scholarship, and research as an designer/consultant-in-residence with a large Nepali nonprofit arts and crafts collective: The Association for Craft Producers (ACP), which allows continuance of my international field research on the impact of participation on non-profit collectives members attitudes towards gender equity, globalism, and liberalism. ACP has offered me an unpaid, twelve-week position, giving me direct access to artists for interviews, data collection, and direct working-service experience. Research findings will be presented in peer-reviewed presentations and publications and will infuse my teaching and enhance the scholarship and service reputation of KSU.
