Regents Teaching Excellence Awards for Online Teaching

This is the newest USG award (est. 2014), designed to recognize and promote excellent online teaching course.

Official USG Award Guidelines:

Eligible candidates must be “current full-time members of the teaching faculty and teaching academic staff must teach at least a minimum of 12 credit hours of fully online instruction at one of the USG institutions across the last three consecutive semesters Fall 2015 - Summer 2016). Fully online instruction for this award is defined as 95% or more of the course must be delivered fully online.”

The Distance Learning Center provides a list of the KSU educators who meet the 12-credit threshold. View Eligible Faculty
Only Deans or their designees are permitted to submit nominees for this award.

Timeline

September 7, 2017 at 11:59. Deadline to submit college nominations to the Dean’s council.

September 12, 2017 at 11:59. Deadline for Deans or designees to pre-rate nominations using the fivestar rating system. To rate each nomination you must select the view link in the last column.

September 14, 2017. Deans’ Council to decide campus nominees.

December 4, 2017. Final deadline for CETL to submit campus nominations to USG.
