Alignment allows students to make connections across course components. If a course is aligned, students will understand what is expected of them, how they will practice the skills and information, and also how they will show mastery or success in the content. An alignment chart can help you align the course objective, module learning objectives, activities and assessments in your course. This chart, provided here, can be modified to reflect your course. For example, you can add a column for module objectives to this example. Also, this Alignment Chart can be utilized in an online, blended/hybrid or traditional f2f course.
