A peer-reviewed scholarly online journal. The IJEMST is published quarterly in January, April, July and October. The IJEMST welcomes any papers on math education, science education and educational technology using techniques from and applications in any technical knowledge domain: original theoretical works, literature reviews, research reports, social issues, psychological issues, curricula, learning environments, research in an educational context, book reviews, and review articles.
We invite papers reporting on research that addresses any and all aspects of collegiate mathematics education. Research may focus on learning within particular mathematical domains. It may be concerned with more general cognitive processes such as problem solving, skill acquisition, conceptual development, mathematical creativity, cognitive styles, transition to collegiate mathematics, etc. Research reports may deal with issues associated with variations in teaching methods, classroom or laboratory contexts, or discourse patterns.
SERJ is a peer-reviewed electronic journal of the International Association for Statistical Education (IASE) and the International Statistical Institute (ISI). SERJ is published twice a year and is free.
The Mathematics Educator strives to provide a forum for collaboration of mathematics educators at varying levels of professional experience. Its purpose is to promote the interchange of ideas among the mathematics education community, locally, nationally, and internationally and to present a variety of viewpoints on a broad spectrum of issues related to mathematics education.
Designed to enhance classroom learning and stimulate thinking regarding undergraduate mathematics. It publishes articles, short Classroom Capsules, problems, solutions, media reviews and other pieces. All are aimed at the college mathematics curriculum with emphasis on topics taught in the first two years.
In the Teacher's Corner section, The American Statistician publishes articles, notes, and discussions of interest to statistics teachers covering a variety of different courses and settings. The range includes statistics and probability topics for high school students, including Advanced Placement Statistics; introductory college courses in statistics for all audiences; applied statistics courses at all levels; industrial and continuing education outside the framework of standard academic courses; and mathematical statistics courses at the undergraduate and first-year graduate level.
School Science and Mathematics (SSM) is the official journal of the School Science and Mathematics Association, founded 1901. SSM is an international journal which is published monthly, October through May, emphasizing research on issues, concerns, and lessons within and between the disciplines of science and mathematics in the classroom. Members are encouraged to submit articles to the editor for publication.
The journal provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences which contribute to the improvement of mathematics teaching and learning for students from upper secondary/high school level through to university first degree level, inclusive. A distinctive feature of the journal is its emphasis on the applications of mathematics and mathematical modeling within the context of mathematics education world-wide.
