The aim of the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education (popularly known as QSE) is to enhance the practice and theory of qualitative research in education, with “education” defined in the broadest possible sense, including non-school settings.

Journal of College Student Retention: Research, Theory & Practice

The Journal of College Student Retention: Research, Theory & Practice is intended to provide the educational community, federal and state governmental officials and the general public a medium to exhibit and explore the complex issue of student retention and attrition. The Journal will feature articles pertaining to current and new theoretical constructs and current research on student retention and attrition in higher education.

Journal of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness

The Journal of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness is the official publication of the New England Educational Assessment Network. JAIE publishes scholarly work on the assessment of student learning at the course, program, institutional, and multi-institutional levels as well as more broadly focused scholarship on institutional effectiveness in relation to mission and emerging directions in higher education assessment.

International Journal of Educational Research

The International Journal of Educational Research publishes research manuscripts in the field of education. Work must be of a quality and context that the Editorial Board think would be of interest to an international readership. The aims and scope of the journals are to:
• Provide a journal that reports research on topics that are of international significance across educational contexts
• Publish high quality manuscripts that are of international significance in terms of design and/or findings

Educational Technology Research & Development

Educational Technology Research and Development is the only scholarly journal in the field focusing entirely on research and development in educational technology.

The Research Section assigns highest priority in reviewing manuscripts to rigorous original quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods studies on topics relating to applications of technology or instructional design in educational settings.

The Development Section publishes research on planning, implementation, evaluation and management of a variety of instructional technologies and learning environments.

Higher Education Research and Development

Higher Education Research & Development (HERD) is an international peer-reviewed journal, established in 1982 as the principal learned journal of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA).
Higher Education Research & Development informs and challenges researchers, teachers, administrators, policy-makers and others concerned with the past, present and future of higher education. The journal publishes scholarly articles that make a significant and original contribution to the theory, practice or research of higher education.

Educational Studies

Educational Studies aims to provide a forum for original investigations and theoretical studies in education. The journal publishes fully refereed papers which cover applied and theoretical approaches to the study of education.
Papers should constitute original research, and should be methodologically sound, theoretically informed, and of relevance to an international audience.

Educational Review

Offers authoritative reviews of current national and international issues in schooling and education. It publishes peer-reviewed papers from international contributors which report research across a range of education fields including curriculum, inclusive and special education, educational psychology, policy, management and international and comparative education.

Curriculum Inquiry

Curriculum Inquiry (CI) is a leading international journal in the field of curriculum studies. It is dedicated to studies of educational experience in schools, communities, families, and other local or transnational settings, using a range of theoretical and disciplinary approaches.
