International Journal of Lifelong Education

The International Journal of Lifelong Education provides a forum for debate on the principles and practice of lifelong, adult, continuing, recurrent and initial education and learning, whether in formal, institutional or informal settings. Common themes include social purpose in lifelong education, and sociological, policy and political studies of lifelong education.

International Studies Perspectives

ISP Publishes Four Types of Articles:
Policy Research and Commentary: These articles address current or recent policy debates – broadly conceived – highlighting the degree to which these debates are or ought to be informed by existing scholarly literature and contemporary research.
Pedagogical Analyses: These articles present and analyze innovative teaching practices in the field of international studies in colleges and universities from around the world.

International Review of Education

The International Review of Education – Journal of Lifelong Learning (IRE) provides a forum for theoretically-informed and policy-relevant applied research in lifelong and life-wide learning in international and comparative contexts. Preferred topic areas include adult education, non-formal education, adult literacy, open and distance learning, vocational education and workplace learning, new access routes to formal education, lifelong learning policies, and various applications of the lifelong learning paradigm.

International Journal of Educational Research

The International Journal of Educational Research publishes research manuscripts in the field of education. Work must be of a quality and context that the Editorial Board think would be of interest to an international readership. The aims and scope of the journals are to:
• Provide a journal that reports research on topics that are of international significance across educational contexts
• Publish high quality manuscripts that are of international significance in terms of design and/or findings

International Journal of Educational Development

The purpose of the International Journal of Educational Development is to report new insight and foster critical debate about the role that education plays in development. Aspects of development with which the journal is concerned include economic growth and poverty reduction; human development, well being, the availability of human rights; democracy, social cohesion and peace-building; resilience and environmental sustainability. IJED seeks to help make available new evidence-based theories and understandings as to the extent and nature of educational change in diverse settings.

Higher Education Perspectives (on hiatus)

A student-led, peer-reviewed journal that examines all aspects of higher education within Canada and internationally.

Higher Education in Europe (Archived)

This title has ceased (2010).

The journal deals with major problems and trends in contemporary higher education. It presents information, interpretations, and criticism in regard to current developments in the field. While focusing primarily on Europe and North America within the context of the other activities of the Centre, it regularly features contributions from other regions of the world as well.

Comparative Education Review

Investigates education throughout the world and the social, economic, and political forces that shape it.
