Journal of Critical Incidents

The Journal of Critical Incidents does not publish long cases. JCI's focus is on brief incidents that tell about real situation in a real organization. The incident tells a story about an event, an experience, a blunder, or a success. Unlike a long case, the incident does not provide historical detail or how the situation developed. Rather, it provides a snapshot that stimulates student use of their knowledge to arrive at a course of action or analysis.

Business Case Journal

The Business Case Journal was established by the Society for Case Research to publish cases and research related to case writing or teaching with cases.

Prism Magazine

The magazine is read by key decision makers within engineering education and reaches engineering faculty members, administrators, and students in all disciplines of engineering.

The American Statistician

In the Teacher's Corner section, The American Statistician publishes articles, notes, and discussions of interest to statistics teachers covering a variety of different courses and settings. The range includes statistics and probability topics for high school students, including Advanced Placement Statistics; introductory college courses in statistics for all audiences; applied statistics courses at all levels; industrial and continuing education outside the framework of standard academic courses; and mathematical statistics courses at the undergraduate and first-year graduate level.

American Journal of Physics

The mission of the American Journal of Physics (AJP) is to publish articles on the educational and cultural aspects of physics that are useful, interesting, and accessible to a diverse audience of physics students, educators, and researchers. Our audience generally reads outside their specialties to broaden their understanding of physics and to expand and enhance their pedagogical toolkits at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Advances in Physiology Education

Advances in Physiology Education promotes and disseminates educational scholarship in order to enhance teaching and learning of physiology, neuroscience and pathophysiology. The journal publishes peer-reviewed descriptions of innovations that improve teaching in the classroom and laboratory, essays on education, and review articles based on our current understanding of physiological mechanisms. Submissions that evaluate new technologies for teaching and research, and educational pedagogy, are especially welcome.

Academic Psychiatry

Academic Psychiatry is the international Journal of the American Association of Chairs of Departments of Psychiatry, American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training, Association for Academic Psychiatry, and the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry.

Academic Medicine

Academic Medicine is the official, peer-reviewed journal of the Association of American Medical Colleges. The journal serves as an international forum for the exchange of ideas, information, and strategies to address the major challenges facing the academic medicine community as it strives to carry out its missions in the public interest. The journal’s areas of focus include: education and training issues; health and science policy; institutional policy, management, and values; research practice; and clinical practice in academic settings.

Journal of Biochemistry Education (Revista de Ensino de Bioquimica)

The Journal of Biochemistry Teaching (REB) aims to disseminate research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology teaching and related areas, contributing to the scientific, technological and pedagogical advances in the area. The REB accepts original works in Portuguese, Spanish or English, and academic papers may be sent that involve researches in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology teaching and related areas. 

Review of Research in Education

Review of Research in Education (RRE), published annually since 1973, provides an overview and descriptive analysis of selected topics of relevant research literature through critical and synthesizing essays. Articles are usually solicited for specific RRE issues. There may also be calls for papers. RRE promotes discussion and controversy about research problems in addition to pulling together and summarizing the work in a field.
