This orientation is designed for graduate students who would like an intensive, day-long orientation to teaching prior to the start of the Fall semester. In this orientation, we will discuss expectations and policies related to teaching at KSU, how students learn, student diversity, active learning strategies, grading, academic misconduct, problematic student behavior, holding office hours, and more.
