Journal of Case Studies was established by the Society for Case Research to provide a continual flow of effective up-to-date cases to promote excellence in case teaching.

Publishes original, unpublished case studies related to accreditation and assessment issues in higher education. Studies reflecting issues and solutions to higher-education accreditation and assessment concerns like budgeting, outcomes/goals development, assessment implementation, rubric development and implementation, creating faculty ownership, and resistance to change are appropriate topics.
Publishes original, unpublished case manuscripts relating educational situations from K - 12 and higher education. It is designed to provide the education professional a venue to share original situations with other educators. Cases from a broad range of topics are appropriate for consideration in the JCSE providing the focus of the work is educational situations.
The Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership (JCEL) publishes, in electronic format, peer-reviewed cases appropriate for use in educational leadership preparation efforts across the globe. Building on a long tradition the University Council for Education Administration (UCEA) sponsors this journal in an ongoing effort to improve the preparation and practice of educational leadership. The journal's editorial staff seeks a wide range of cases that focus on timely and/or enduring issues germane to educational leadership preparation.
The Journal of Chemical Education is the official journal of the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society, co-published with the American Chemical Society Publications Division. Launched in 1924, the Journal of Chemical Education is the world’s premier chemical education journal. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles and related information as a resource to those in the field of chemical education and to those institutions that serve them. The Journal of Classroom Interaction (JCI) is a semi-annual publication devoted to empirical investigations and theoretical papers dealing with observation techniques, research on student and teacher behavior, and other topics relevant to the domain of classroom interaction.
The Journal of College Science Teaching provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on and experiences with undergraduate science courses, particularly those for nonscience majors. JCST also reports and discusses innovative teaching materials, methods, and evaluative criteria; disseminate contributions toward improving college science instruction; and describes work in disciplinary science courses that is broad enough in its approach to appeal to teachers in other scientific fields. All manuscripts are peer reviewed.
Journal of College Student Development (JCSD), the largest and leading source of research about college students and the field of student affairs, publishes scholarly articles and reviews from a wide range of academic fields. The Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges contains the conference proceedings for each of the regional conferences sponsored by CCSC. It is distributed to around 600 faculty in over 350 colleges and universities. The Journal of Critical Incidents does not publish long cases. JCI's focus is on brief incidents that tell about real situation in a real organization. The incident tells a story about an event, an experience, a blunder, or a success. Unlike a long case, the incident does not provide historical detail or how the situation developed. Rather, it provides a snapshot that stimulates student use of their knowledge to arrive at a course of action or analysis.

The ISTE Journal of Digital Learning in Teacher Education (JDLTE) is a refereed journal published in partnership with the ISTE Professional Learning Network for Teacher Educators. Journal of Education for Teaching (JET) publishes original contributions on the subject of teacher education. The journal interprets ’teacher education’ in the widest sense, to include academic staff involved with, and responsible for, initial teacher education, continued professional development and the broad field of research into higher education’s contribution to education. JET welcomes scholarly discussions of new issues in the field, which would include original and rigorous analysis of the policies and practices involved in preparing individuals to work in education at any level.
The Journal of Educational Research publishes manuscripts that describe or synthesize research of direct relevance to educational practice in elementary and secondary schools, pre-K–12. Special consideration is given to articles that focus on variables that can be manipulated in educational settings. Although the JER does not publish validation studies, the Editors welcome many varieties of research--experiments, evaluations, ethnographies, narrative research, replications, and so forth.
JEBS provides an outlet for papers that develop original statistical methods useful for the applied statistician working in educational or behavioral research. Typical papers will present new methods of analysis. In addition, critical reviews of current practice, tutorial presentations of less well known methods, and novel applications of already known methods will be published.
